“When a man’s trial by fire arrives, he must meet it with his indomitable will, or he will perish.”
- Unknown
We prepare our veterans, their spouses and caregivers to become competitive in society through thought leadership, comprehensive programming and strategic initiatives, aimed at empowering and enriching their lives.
It is a matter of depth of involvement, breadth of services and ongoing commitment to the veteran.

Coaching Strategy
Our coaching strategy is comprised of the following three elements:
Coaching - Evidenced based Coaching (Tools, Frameworks, Methodologies)
Movement - Continuous Forward Movement (Behavioral Change)
Results - Realistic Results (Goals and Objectives)
Our highly trained coaches serve as our Veterans transition partners.
Why this method/structure?
From VCP’s perspective, your identity is founded in strengths, values, and purpose, because these provide you with the fundamentals to succeed in whatever future adventure you chose to pursue.
Making Sense of Coaching
Coaching has its roots buried in education, psychology, therapy, counselling, sports coaching and organizational development, all contributing to the eclectic nature of coaching.
Within the coaching space, the role of the coach is both to support and challenge the individual to engage in a process of retrospective sense making. It is often in the space of silence created by coaching that the individual is able to become aware of the very essence of who they are, the values and beliefs which drive their behaviors, and the contribution they have made to the particular set of circumstances they find themselves in.
Irrespective of the approach to coaching, it requires deep reflection by both the coach and coachee and the necessity to explore the values and beliefs that drive the individual while at the same time having a consideration of the wider system in which the coachee operates.
The subject of coaching is dynamic and constantly in the process of changing and evolving (Angelique Du Toit, 2014).
Mentoring:
Think of it like learning from a wise friends who’s been there before. They share their experience and knowledge to help you grow.
Therapy:
This is like talking to a doctor for your mind. They help you understand and deal with past issues that affect your daily life leading to better emotional health.
Consulting:
Need an expert opinion on a specific topic? Consulting is like getting advice from a specialist to solve a problem or make a decision.
Coaching:
Everyone needs a team who asks thought-provoking questions to help you discover your own solutions and reach your goals.
