Continuous Engagement

Veteran engagement is at the core of what we do. It is a high touch activity consisting of weekly calls, emails, and the use of other collaborative tools such as Slack, etc.

In addition, a training and development curriculum is administered throughout the entire engagement.

Our program is designed to continue supporting the veteran throughout his or her professional career, and throughout their lives. Our mantra is VCP for life!

We created an in-house team that focuses exclusively on veteran and coach outreach.

  • Internally (Consistent communications/interaction with veterans currently enrolled in a cohort)

  • Externally (Consistent outreach to veterans outside the VCP network and includes consistent interaction with veterans who previously completed the program)

  • Additionally, the team continuously performs the same outreach for coaches currently coaching in the program, coaching candidates, and coaches who previously coached for the program

  • The team also identifies, screens, vets, and reports on potential strategic partners to join our Veteran Resource Ecosystem. They are our ‘boots on the ground.’

Operationalizing the transition process

We believe if we provide the right guidance and framework, finding a new path will be one of the most rewarding and empowering experiences of their lives. The Veterans Coaching Project operationalizes the transition process, optimizes the process for America’s veterans, and provides the solutions that address the current gaps in the marketplace.

Direct Access to Veterans, spouses, and caregivers

Through our extensive and ever-growing network of contacts, we can offer private sector companies and other organizations direct access to veterans from all military branches. These veterans will be carefully screened and prepared by VCP to ensure they possess the skills, experience and attitude sought by prospective employers. Veterans, spouses, and caregivers, represent one of the economy’s largest reservoirs of often untapped and sophisticated talent. We believe that a global marketplace which engages veterans as active partners, decision makers and clients is stronger and more productive.

Continuous Evolution

We are committed to evolving our coaching operations through open enrollment, an intern program, and dual focus development for both coaches and veterans. Since our inception, VCP has been at the forefront of innovation and coaching delivery — providing fast access to, data, unique insights, and coaching tools that help our clients turn knowledge into action. Our leadership position in applying coaching in the veteran domain will further enable us to develop new ways for our clients around the globe to derive valuable intelligence and actionable insights from our high-quality coaching information and make more informed career decisions.

Networking is always a key characteristic of VCP. We continue to develop close professional relationships with a wide range of companies and organizations that are committed to assisting our service members during their transition from military service and beyond.

Follow-Up Counseling and Coaching

We know that the employment process does not end with the hiring of a veteran. This is why we also provide the option of ongoing monitoring, coaching, and counseling of the veterans placed with employers. This ensures that problems are resolved promptly and successfully, and additional growth and developmental opportunities are recognized and addressed.
